Some background…

Today I’m a reporter at The Information, where I report and write features and investigations about the people and companies shaping tech culture. You might know me from my work at Insider, where I broke news about powerful figures like Dave Portnoy and Elon Musk.

I got my start in book publishing at HarperCollins, where I worked on the Freakonomics series. Then I headed to Esquire, where I wrote about pop culture and edited features. Next, a stint at Bon Appétit, before I moved to Los Angeles to make film & television out of journalistic IP for Epic/Vox Media. (Check out Little America on Apple TV+!) Most recently, I was a senior correspondent on Insider’s features team.

As a freelancer, my work has appeared in Billboard, The Verge, The Daily Beast, The Fine Print, and others.
